About Us

About Us

TransAmbulance Inc. started its operations in the city of Oakland and San Francisco in 2010. Back then we were known as TranMedic/Transport-Medics. We began providing Non-Emergency Medical transportation services. The company started with two wheelchairs and Gurney/stretcher vans and began to grow steadily. We were also contracted by other companies such as convalescent homes and hospitals out of our immediate area as a provider for hospital appointments and discharge. We had our headquarters in the city of Alameda, and in 2019 we earned our permit as a full-fledged Ambulance company now located in Richmond, California.
