The Betty Irene Moore College of Nursing at UC Davis hosts its 2022 Graduation Thursday. It’s the primary in-person commencement celebration for the varsity since 2019.

The graduation speaker is Aron King a graduate of the varsity’s Grasp of Science — Management Diploma Program and assistant nurse supervisor at UC Davis Well being. He’s co-author of the 2021 ebook The Diaries of a Resilient Black Nurse: An Anthology of Struggles and Achievements of Black Nurses in America. King serves on the manager board for the Capitol Metropolis Black Nurses Affiliation, an area chapter of the Nationwide Black Nurses Affiliation, and is a co-chair for the well being committee of the Nationwide Affiliation for the Development of Coloured Folks (NAACP) Sacramento. He enters the varsity’s Physician of Philosophy Diploma Program this fall.
