A Pulitzer Prize successful play that focuses on the expertise of two completely different folks with disabilities and their caregivers is heading to Broadway.

The present “Value of Dwelling” will make its Broadway premiere on the Samuel J. Friedman Theater this fall, the Manhattan Theater Membership stated.

The play by Martyna Majok is about two completely different pairs of individuals — a graduate pupil with cerebral palsy and his paid caregiver in addition to a girl who’s paralyzed and her estranged husband.

The present’s Broadway debut comes after a 2017 run on the Manhattan Theater Membership’s house off Broadway. It should star Gregg Mozgala and Katy Sullivan.

“Value of Dwelling” received the 2018 Pulitzer Prize for drama.

The Pulitzer committee described the present as “an sincere, authentic work that invitations audiences to look at numerous perceptions of privilege and human connection by means of two pairs of mismatched people: a former trucker and his lately paralyzed ex-wife, and an smug younger man with cerebral palsy and his new caregiver.”
