The UC Davis Division of Inside Drugs has introduced the appointment of Jose Joaquin Lado-Abeal as chief of the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism. He succeeds Sidika Karakas who just lately retired.
Lado-Abeal is an internist who focuses on thyroid ailments, diabetes and neuroendocrinology. He joined the division in early April, after serving as a tenured professor on the College of South Carolina Faculty of Drugs and director of the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism at Prisma Well being-Midlands.

Lado-Abeal earned his medical diploma from the College of Santiago de Compostela-Faculty of Drugs in Spain. He accomplished his residency in Inside Drugs on the Hospital Clinic I Provincial, Barcelona, Spain and Hospital Xeral de Galicia, Santiago de Compostela. He accomplished his residency in endocrinology and vitamin on the Hospital Xeral de Galicia, Santiago de Compostela. He did his fellowship in endocrinology and metabolism on the College of Chicago Hospitals.
