THE Welsh Ambulance Service has appointed a brand new Govt Director of Finance and Company Sources.

Chris Turley has had a 30-year profession in finance in NHS Wales, throughout which period he has served as interim Director of Finance at Aneurin Bevan College Well being Board and Head of Finance for the NHS Wales Well being Collaborative.

He led a radical overhaul of how organisations have been funded following the reorganisation of NHS our bodies in Wales, and the creation of the present seven Native Well being Boards in 2009.

Chris, who relies in Cwmbran, joined the ambulance service in October 2015 because the Belief’s Deputy Director of Finance, and has been the interim Govt Director of Finance and ICT since February 2018.

Together with being the Govt Director of Finance, Chris will maintain the portfolio for all the Belief’s Company Sources, together with Estates and Fleet, in addition to being liable for the Belief’s capital programme.
